A dream is drifting by on edelweiss,
a swaying field and starry summer sky,
Am I a bard or shining silver knight?
And are you Queen Louise or Princess Bride?

Perhaps I'll save you from an ivory tower,
and rise triumphant over monsters foul,
or we, as allies, fight an evil power,
to join our forces in that final hour

But then again, It might be me who needs,
a little help, and maybe rescuing
Or maybe life will pass on silver wings,
without a need for pain or suffering

A dream of peace is drifting far away,
as crystal shatters and our wishes break,
I tried to save us from the rushing blitz,
but trains would take away my parting kiss
